Pirates!!!

Piracy continues to hold a strong attraction for some people. Desperate circumstances can lead some to turn to a dangerous life of crime. Where there is high risk, there can be high reward. What are the risks and rewards of a life of piracy? Can you ever rejoin mainstream society after profiting from a life as a pirate?

  1. I think that it's easier to turn to cruime as a way of life if you are led to believe that your other options are paltry by comparison.

  2. The risks would be being caught and jailed, while the reward could potentially be a large sum of money. I don't think that you would be able to rejoin mainstream society after profiting from life as a pirate because people would ask where you got your money, and you would most likely be uncomfortable answering that. Also, it would be difficult because you would have almost no education, so it would be hard to get a job during the best of times.
